The sun was shining at 11am as I turned the corner into the by now familiar Castle Square, a central meeting point in the Pembrokeshire town of Haverfordwest and the site of many previous efforts for Chelsea Manning here on her family’s home patch. I had a rucksack full of banners and flyers on my back and glancing up I could see a threatening cloud approaching fast in the keen wind.
